Home made Self Raising Flour

If you run out of Self Raising flour or if the not available, here is the easy way to make your own.

Preparation time : 5 mis

Ingredients : 
All purpose flour / Madia
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp salt.


Method : 
  1. Place 11/2 tsp baking powder, salt in a measuring cup.
  2. Add flour to the cup to measure 1 cup.
  3. Sift the mix and store in air tight container.
Note:
  • Use good quality flour and Baking powder.
  • Do not store it for too long as baking powder loses it potency and you might not get the desired result.
  • Can be used for tempura batter.
